I was just wondering which 40k armies are your most and least favourite?
Personally my all time favourite is Imperial Guard. I really love the fact that they are very easy to relate to, and I can't help but admire the honourable humanity they portray... Simple men fighting against all odds.
But another favourite of mine is the Orks. Maybe because they are the exact opposite of IG. I can have great fun exaggerating as much as I want, and just have fun with them.
My least favourites are maybe the Necrons. I think they are plain boring.
Looking forward to hearing what you guys think

My favorite army is the Imperial Guard. The idea of normal guys fighting for their homes, families and Emperor with nothing but a lasgun really appeals to me. These men would rather be at home but they still fight. That makes them unique in my opinion.
I also love orks. They are the fun part of the game but can still be a bit scary. They also open up many conversion posibilities.
My least favorite... that's a tough one. It depends on what you mean. Miniature-wise I'd have to say the Necrons. They are just too boring for my taste.
So it looks like we agree...

Favourite would have to be Space Marines, followed by IG.
Least: Hmm, aye, most likely the Necrons, same reasons really. Just find them a little boring :/ Likewise with the Dark Eldar, but not as much as the Necrons IMO.

My favorite is the Imperial Guard, because I just love the artillery, big tanks, and plently of men to throw into what's left of the enemy.
This makes the Imperial Guard my friends' least favorite army, since my Basilisk decimates their forces before they can get anything good in range.
My least favorite is probably the Eldar. I really don't like that stealthy magic appeal stuff. As I said up above, I like big guns, big tanks, and cannon fodder.

Spacemarines 1st,followed by Imp.Guard.

Anybody that says anything other than Imperial Guard or to a lesser extent anything Imperial, SHOULD BE BURNED.

My favorite would have to be the space marines (Bio engineered super soldiers, do I have to say more?), followed closely by IG. Imperial guard has so many different things you can do with them.
My least favorite would either be the Necrons(boring) or the Eldar(every thing about them drives me nuts)

Favorite army by far: Guard, followed by anything Imperial
Neutral army -Tau
Least favorite army's - I really hate heretics (Because I'm a die hard Imperial player, I even carry my Uplifting Primer in my school bag) and xenos are rite behind the heretics. The only difference between them is that the Xenos didn't turn their backs on the emperor and try to destroy him so I hate Heretics much much more.

My favourite is Tau,obviosly (I guess I should be burned aye Syphon?  )
Least favourite that I've played against is necrons but thats because I went against some major metal cheddar...
